Wychall Primary school had been using the "Centrex" analogue hosted telephone system originally deployed broadly in the Birmingham Council environment by Telewest, now under the Virgin Brand.
This product was on a cost per user rental basis, much like the now common SIP Hosted Cloud models. The cost of this antiquated comms package was steadily increasing and it was not fit for purpose. Sean Moles the IT Manager for the school chose Clarity Voice as his preferred partner.
Clarity Voice surveyed Wychall's site and was pleased to note that Sean had already invested in a Cat5e POE LAN, which is a pre requisite to Quality Hosted Voice systems. Wychall also benefitted form a new Virgin 30MB leased fibre line for their internet, which was perfect to deliver the Voice calls over securely.
Clarity Voice delivered the Cisco Sip handsets that Sean had chosen on time and assisted in the
deployment of them. All of the handsets are always delivered by Clarity Voice pre-configured Plug and Play.
We then gave on site and web training to the users and Sean as the administrator. Sean has been very pleased
with the solution and is now about to start delivery to other schools under his IT management.
